1. Matching Degree of Photovoltaic Modules

2. Efficiency of Inverter and Box Converter


Although the European efficiency in the technical specifications of inverters takes into account the weighted conversion efficiency of different load rates, few inverters can achieve 98.5% of the current common use in practice. In the process of converting DC to AC, the weighted efficiency of 97.5% should be good.


The MPPT tracking effect of different inverters is also different. When the maximum power point voltage varies with the irradiance, the inverters need to constantly change the voltage value to find the maximum power point voltage, which will also cause energy loss due to the lag of tracking. At present, some inverters manufacturers adopt multi-channel MPPT to reduce this loss.


Within the maximum DC input voltage range, increasing the voltage and reducing the current of the multi-series components as far as possible can improve the conversion efficiency of the inverter and reduce the line loss.


The box transformer will inevitably lose energy in the process of boosting, which is determined by the parameters of the box transformer, generally about 1.5%.

3. DC Line Loss and AC Line Loss


The area of a 1MW unit is about 3.5-4 hectares. It takes a long DC line to send electricity from such a large area of photovoltaic modules to a place. There are two ways to reduce line loss: choose good cable and increase voltage. In general, the DC line loss can be estimated by 2-3%.


The AC line is short and the line loss is relatively small. Generally, it can be estimated by 1%.


4. Fault Of Equipment
