In order to obtain higher quality, its heterogenous material must be cleaned up, the purity is required to be very high, and the synthetic molecular weight requires a long molecular chain to achieve the promised performance. At present, the cost of dupont TPT backboard is 35 to 45 yuan per cubic meter. After decades of planning, the cost of industry has been reduced to the limit. The non-fluorine APE has reached 18 to 20 yuan per cubic meter.


But that still doesn't change the awkward status of the non-fluorinated material backplates, with fluorine-containing TPT materials still accounting for nearly 75% of the market.

As for the situation of APE backboard, CAI shuyi, deputy general manager of shangshan new material technology co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "shangshan new material"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DSM group of the Netherlands, can sympathize with it. In 2014, CAI shuyi left dupont group and founded shangshan new material, starting a long exploration. Later, DSM of the Netherlands secretly conducted a two-year performance test on the environmental-friendly APE backboard developed by the former, and formally proposed the purchase of shangshan after determining the performance of the backboard.


Compared with TPT products, APE has no fluorine-containing materials, and no fluorine-containing toxic substances are discharged during incineration and degradation treatment, meeting the requirements of green design. No thermosetting glue is used in the production process, which is in line with the trend of green manufacturing and conducive to recycling.
